"My Fellow Mausicans,
Aye, Scratchy,  my first roommate, Leroy Cox, was from de Coconut, El  Socorro. Not Point.
He composed “Mausica” in  1967 before he graduated.. Upon graduating dey send he and Aqui tuh Brighton, La Brea. While dong dey, he hook up wit Solid Seven and dey recorded de song an dey call it “Go Go Calypso”.
De tune was bad fuh days and stayed on de charts fuh ah long time.
Kent Rennie, Geezmo, was de Minister of Entertainment and, of course, hired he pardnahs fuh plenty fete in Mausica.
Yuh tink is only now Mausica have Ministers?
MTC train all kinda people, boy!
Dey had anodder hit called “Theme From Mamtha”. Was ah bolero. De combo was great.
Yuh shoulda see how mankind use tuh dance in HMJ Hall. Competition fuh so.
Scratchy, yuh remember dem days? Ask yuh pardnah Sto, Selwyn Bethelmy.
