Yesterday I went to the celebration of the life of Castro the owner of a popular watering hole in Dabadie.
At the church I connected with three Mausicans, Sitram Sewlal who used to work in the kitchen, Roland Maundy Jr and my roommate Eugene Macpherson.
Mac was dressed like someone out of an Isaac Hayes 1960’s/70’s museum……semi cowboy hat, wrap around shades, multicoloured checkered jacket (small checks), red shirt, black tie, black and white pointed tip shoes with a square tip. Some of you will remember him at graduation in a long gown a la Isaac Hayes…..seems like he’s still living the life…
