My Fellow Mausicans,
Thanks for all your expressions of condolences on the passing of my mother.
Mammy received the kind of homegiong celebration that she deserved. It was great and upbeat. The church was packed with several family members, her personal friends and the friends and co-workers of her five children. Of course, there were tears but the dominant emotion was one of joy and thanksgiving. Mausicans were very much present: Andre Stephens, Felix Edinborough, Clive Grell, Conrad Thomas, Anthony Taitt, Claire Mathias, Lynette Thompson, Maria Mora, Janice Barnes, Marion Marshall , Joy's sister, and Angela Cato Ifill. Barbara Davis? Clive and Mary Grell catered a scrumptious repast, on a moment's notice.
It was uplifting to be surrounded and supported by my Mausican family. I sang a verse of John Boulet during my delivery of the eulogy.
So long for now. Ah goin and get some much needed rest. It's 1: 24 AM.
