Dear Fellow Mausicans,
Congrats to Mr. Williams on his over due but deserving reward. I read his inteview in yesterday's papers and was happy to be remided of his many achievements. It was better late than never. Felix I can see the pride on your face. Hope there will be awards for others who are still with us.
Condolences to Carol and her sister. When will this mercilessness be stopped?
My only memory of Independence is listening to the hoisting and lowering of the flags with my parents on our Grundig radio. But on this years Indp. Day, I listened to some older folks who were present at the 1962 celebrations and what was most remarkable and pleasing for them was that Dr. Williams had asked for all places of worship in P-O-S to be opened. At the end of the ceremomies he told them "Now go to your places of worship and give thanks to God". They remarked that with all the glitter of this years' it paled in comparison to 1962's.
