Francois and Arthur Small, thanks for being able to visit with Bertie. So many of us who lived with him join you in spirit - apart from Mausica, Donald, Selwyn and I would remember Bertie as he kept us together with our Combo, entertaining on Friday and Saturday nights at the University of Alberta Student Union Building, Edmonton Alberta. "Oh to have lived, loved and be loved rather than not loved at all!"
Remember the immense talent that he brought to Mausica when he played three instruments simultaneously! Matron - the torch light! Who can forget Bertie's meteoric rise to Member of Parliament of Tunupuna under the PNM!
May all our prayers bring him eternal peace and rest!
