Re: MAUSICA WEEKLY EMAILS

2010-JAN-17-0855Hrs
What wonderful memories! Terry had brought up the Mausica CD from Trinidad late Friday night. First thing in the morning,he put it on the CD player. As the Mausica voices wafted through the air on Saturday morning at breakfast, I was transported back years into the cold lecture theatre at 3;00 a.m. and could hear the announcement: "Take 34!" Weary, yet committted to perfection, we sighed, but went at it again, hoping to get it right this time, to please our taskmasters and ourselves, to produce an album that was second to none. "Bring Back the Coverlet," "Tengo lorse all he money", "Don't faint away, Lulu" and the list goes on.....
Maria , thank you. Thank you to Alisford and all who had a hand in producing this priceless gift of ourselves to ourselves. God Bless us all this New Year of 2010 and always.
In the midst of this joy, there is sorrow over Mr. Maunday's death. Sorry I am not in Trinidad for the funeral.I hope we had (or will have, not sure of the funeral date) a good representation from the Alumni.
My condolences to Feizal on the death of your only son. May God give you the strength to bear this loss.
Hazel Thompson- Ahye (Nassau, The Bahamas).
