Re: Ivor Mohammed
It is with sadness that I inform everyone at Humber River Regional Hospital of the passing of Ivor Mohammed, a dedicated Orthopedic Technologist in our Fracture Clinic.
Ivor passed away tragically in an automobile accident downtown Toronto on the weekend. Although he joined Humber River late in 2009, Ivor made an instant impression on staff and patients with his wonderful sense of humour and gentle, caring demeanour. He was extremely committed to his work, was always pleasant and demonstrated excellent customer service skills. Ivor had many friends at Humber River and his smile and warmth will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
On your behalf I have extended condolences to his family and friends. As is our practice, we will acknowledge Ivor’s passing by lowering all Humber River Regional Hospital’s flags to half-mast on the day of his funeral.
Visitation:
Friday, January 15, 6:00-8:00p.m.
Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East
Agincourt (Sheppard Avenue west of Midland)
(416) 293-5211.
The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, January 16 at 9:30 a.m.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, all donations will be gratefully accepted at the Humber River Regional Hospital Foundation."

I only just heard of Ivor's passing, today (June 1 2010). Ivor was so wonderful to me when I had a broken foot. He could make anyone laugh and forget their pain. I met him many times at the ER Fracture Clinic at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket. He will be greatly missed.
