I was so sad to hear of the death of yet another Mausican, Roland Gordon. Not only did Roland and I attend Mausica together, we were secondary schoolmates, attending Woodbrook Government Secondary School. He was always so full of life and energy. Last November, we attended one of our school's reunion and there was Roland, full of fun as usual. He was also known in the wider community for his musical abilities, being associated with the Malick Folk Performers and working as a Music Facilitator with the Ministry of Education. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him. My condolences to his family.
