Re: MAUSICA WEEKLY EMAILS

2013-Apr-19-0846Hrs
I was listening a few weeks ago to a CD of Mausica singing at Queen's Hall. In the build up to the actual singing, the dignitaries attending the concert were mentioned. Then it struck me. Clearly, Mausica Teachers Choir at that time was THE group that was on the scene. Listening to the music decades later, two names strike me. Mr. Williams, and Mrs Cuffie. They took a group of young people, and moulded them into a choir that had the respect of all of Trinidad as well as the Southern Caribbean. If it has not been done before, I think it is about time that we honour these two people who gave so much to our development when we were young, and also to the country by extension.
