Subject: Thank you for the Mausicans
Dear Friends,
We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for all the prayers, expressions of sympathy and concern sent on the passing of Bertie. Your thoughts and prayers have certainly helped us through this difficult time. Special thanks to those of you who were able to visit or call him during his illness, or to assist his daughters in any way during the time they took care of him.
For the many tributes to Bertie on the blog, in the newspapers or made in any other way - we say thank you so much for your kindness. We are sure you all would understand and forgive us for mentioning a few names here - thank you to Brenda, Terrence, Farida & Monty, Esmond, and Arthur.
Some of you, too, have recently lost loved ones and we extend sympathies to you. We join with you in praying for them all:

And let perpetual light shine upon them
