RE: MAUSICA WEEKLY EMAILS

2012-Oct-05-0636Hrs
Fellow Mausicans
Esmond Francois' account is how I remember Bertie.  It was such a delight to have someone who could play along  with the songs we knew after a few seconds of listening and he certailnly livened up some of the weekends we spent at the College.   My abiding image of him is at the piano.   Rest in Peace Bertie.  To his family and Mausicans I say Treasure the memories.
Bertie was a lead instrumentalist( not on the piano, as I remember) with The Best Bluffers when we provided some entertainment at the official opening of the College on September 16, 1963.
