I would like our readership to take a walk down Memory Lane. To August 31st, 1962, six years after the father of our Nation, Dr. Eric Eustace Williams and the PNM, paved the way for many of my fellow Mausicans to win scholarships to attend MTC.
We should be forever grateful for the leaders of that period. It was an exciting time to listen to politicians from the PNM and DLP. Dr Eric Williams and Dr. Rudranath Capildeo went to Marlborugh House to accept the terms of our statehood. What a time.
