Ah hearing ah pan beating
Ah guitar strumming
Best Village performing
Soca singers jamming
Calypsonians singing
And ah seeing ah man judging
One man in all them ting
I talking about Roland Gordon my pardner
And I brand him ah all purpose cultural character
Who have music in he veins
And culture in he brains
Ah know this sounding like ah eulogy
But this is what the country think ah he
A cultural icon of T&T
So I pray the Lord to let him rest in peace for all eternity.
