I like Linda's suggestion that we could all aim to contribute to the blog in creative ways by sending pieces we have written etc. This would enliven the spirit (and the brain as Linda says) and relieve some of the depression that comes from hearing of colleagues who have passed on. Many people I'm sure still have a great deal of literary talent to offer.
