On behalf of the Mausica Teachers' Alumni and Friends, New York Chapter,I wish to extend a warm welcome to our Permanent Representative of Trinidad and Tobago to the United Nations, Rodney Charles. Congratulations, we are delighted.
Mary and I visited Rodney, and even though we had never met Rodney before, we were welcomed in the way that a Mausican greets a Mausican! After two hours of "ole talk" about the "good ole days" of Mausica, we were given the assurance that Rodney will attend our Reunion. He has since been encouraging his fellow Mausicans, especially his year group, to join us at the Reunion.
From our conversation, I am sure that Rodney will be effective in bringing about substantial and meaningful improvements in his role as Ambassador. We wish him continued success in your post.
