RE: Please add to contacts

2012-Oct-26-1501Hrs
Dear Errol,
Please add Marilyn Kangalee-Albert '72-'74 to your mail list. Her husband Winston 'de Alberto' went to GTC, but is an honorary Mausican, as he was Trevor Arrindell's very good friend long before he and Mars started 'courting' years after. He spent a lot of time on campus. We love them dearly! amarilyn5@hotmail.co.uk

Rodney, at your time of sorrow, my sisters and I offer our sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of your mother. This is certainly that time when you smile to yourself at all the wonderful memories you would have of a mother or parent. Enjoy them and may her soul rest in peace.
Sincerely

Hey Everybody, although we knew how ill Bertie was we just did not want him to die, but we also did not want him to suffer so much pain. The news in T&T papers paid tribute to him, mentioning his musical and political life. Some Organisations like Pan Trinbago and the PNM got some buffs for not recognising the passing of Bertie, who had contributed so mush to them. Condolences to his family. May he rest in Eternal peace. I hope to see him again.

Hi, all.
I am so excited to see mention of Victoria Fraser, a member of our clique at  Wingate Janice Walker Barnes. Maureen and Pat Gill, And , the two hilarious ones of the group, Bernadette (Pinky) Mitchell, and, Joan Forde, who was Vicky's room mate.  June Martin, though not of Wingate, was also of the group.  I am thinking of one other person, who like Pinky was also from Tobago, whose name escapes me for the moment. She did not get into as much mischief as we did.  June and I made contact again just last year..  Good to see your name and message in this blog, June!  I had arrived in Toronto the same year as June and Carol Aqui (Serette), became room mates.. Vicky had endured a lot of teasing from us, especially Joan, when Bertie  came into her life.  Vicky,  I always picture you just as you looked then.  By all accounts you did just great, not at all unexpected.  Enjoy your retirement in good health and longevity.
I have always claimed that the 2 years i spent at Mausica to be the best years of my life. due no doubt in great part to the relationships formed, the times we had together, and the uniqueness of all that Mausica Teachers' Training College was to all who had the fortune to be select.ed, and the courage to persevere.  Love and best wishes to all.  God Bless!!!

Good to see all the names I recognize pay tribute to the late Bertie Fraser, and even share things about him that I did not know, having not been at Mausica that first year.  A special greeting to my dear friend Esmond!  Rodney, I know that my sister, Marion, would have passed on my condolences on the passing of your mother.  But it is even better to be able to say it to you myself  God Bless!!!  Love to all.
Joy Barnes (Marshall).

Mausicans, Mausicans, Mausicans
The Blogmaster is incredibly good at what he does but short of putting an ad in some global machine, the ony way the address list will grow is mainly through word of mouth or by simply sending in the e mail addresses of Mausicans who may not already have been included.   It is then up to them to follow up. Please let us all be grown up about this... it is not a secret society and ALL Mausicans should be a part of the fun.
About registration... no prizes to us for doing what we have been asked to do with lots of time in which to do it.   The Organising Committe needs a special commendation for making this work for us.   Love you all and please get those addresses to Errol ASAP.

My Dear Errol,
Just like all of us in 1963/1965 and 1964/1966 pioneer years, I am saddened to hear of Bertie's passing. We Mausicans all made glorious music in those years, and Bertie and Pat Allum and Ancil and Desmond were the musicians who led us along (not forgetting talented Fitzy as choir master) and enriched our lives.
I remember Bertie ever so fondly and apart from his joyful piano playing strictly from his musical ear, I remember his crooked smile.
Deepest condolences to his family and may he forever rest in peace.
Vernetta Brewster (Calvin-Smith)

Hi Errol,
I have said this before but I will say it again. I just wait for Friday morning to read the Mausica emails. Thanks for keeping us connected. Keep up the wonderful job.
I just want to let Andre know that the blog is for all Mausicans who are interested in keeping in touch. The question of marketing should not arise. This is only a friendly FAMILY business with each of us trying to reach out to others - to laugh, to cry, to grieve and just be in touch. Welcome to Michael and Vincent.
Maria, I really believe that the Fosters should be given a large discount for registering first and also for their consistency in attendance. I meet them at all the reunions I attend. What a lovely couple! I have only missed the reunion  in New York and I am so looking forward to 2013. See you all there.
God Bless,
Judith Lennard
