Yes, your interpretation is correct. Mausica Reunion III was just trying to keep up with the computer lingo. Sorry if I gave you a headache. I consider myself a technically challenged, but I try as much as possible to keep up with the language of the times. I too get headaches over this sometimes. Sorry about that people.

Helo Maria/Felix, It appears that there is some confusion about 03/07 on the form.... "yuh might get some Mausicans comin in March since yuh want de payment in February":)Anyway, it is not a problem to amend the form and to resend quickly .. ...no offense to our American friends :)Here are some options... and there are others
OUR RENDEZVOUS 3/07 – “TOBAGO HERE WE COME”
OUR RENDEZVOUS III/2007: “TOBAGO HERE WE COME"
OUR RENDEZVOUS III, July 2007: “TOBAGO HERE WE COME”
OUR RENDEZVOUS III, 07/07: “TOBAGO HERE WE COME”
OUR RENDEZVOUS III, 707: “TOBAGO HERE WE COME”
Pl. let us know your wishes and we will fulfill them.

Re: MAUSICA REUNION 2007 - AMENDED REGISTRATION FORM
2007-Jan-21-Sun-1615hrs
When I first noticed " . . . 03/07", I too wondered about it thinking that it was March, 2007 instead of July, 2007 but then it appeared a second time in the form and I thought twice could not be a mistake. My interpretation of " . . . 03/07" now is Mausica Reunion III, 2007, Tobago so (. . . 02/05) Mausica Reunion II, 2005, Toronto preceeded it. I don't know why it would have hurt so much to spell it out rather than give an old brain like mine a headache decyphing, interpreting and explaining it. I've added Anna Maria, Brenda, Felix and Tom to provide the correct interpretation if mine isn't.

Hi Brenda,
Thankx for the minutes. I also got a few messages from Gerry. You were a bit ahead of me re the registration form. Anna Marie had asked that we make any necessary changes to the form. I was awaiting your comments from the meeting before finalizing. In the interim I spoke to her and Felix and it was decided that we should add payment by money order for oversea/international travellers because it takes 6 weeks to clear cheques. So I have amended the form with a footnote to reflect this. I will ask Errol to send ot out with a note saying amended registration form or something lke that. Errol, can you pl take care of this. I will also have it posted to the site shortly.
Thankx Tom

Re: Jean
2007-Jan-17-Wed-0923hrs
Thanks for keeping me informed. I attended the memorial service for Jean at the Gospel Hall in Belmont. It was a rare experience for me! Just being in the prersence of so many Mausicans many of whom I have not seen since 1966 was indeed awesome. Our collective presence surely helped us to bear the loss of such a fine person as Jean. What a beautiful and life-like picture was presented of her not only in the framed photograph which faced us from the altar but also through the tributes coming from Eastlyn and other close friends!
May Jean's soul rest in peace!
God Bless!
Sadie.

RE: Jean
2007-Jan-12-Fri-2025hrs
Wonderful Mausica Family,
I went to the Jean memorial that was held at the Gospel Hall where Jean used to attend Services when she was living in T&T. The church was filled with Mausicans, Bishop Anstey-ans and friends, and the occasion was very moving. Tributes were paid to Jean by the Gospel Hall Pastor, a very close friend from Bishops and Eastlyn representing Mausica. It was vintage Eastlyn at her very best with a mixture of pathos and humour, a fitting memorial for Jean.
May she rest in peace.
Very soon you will be receiving news of the reunion as the registration forms are ready and we hope that all members of the family will realise the importance of meeting and hugging and kissing and enjoying ourselves together. I do hope to see as many of this ‘pumpkin vine’ family as possible.
Love and God Bless,
Felix ‘Progues’
RE: David Roberts

I was really sadden by the news of David's death. He was a solid Sunset Villan. Spent a lot of time trying to play the guitar. So much so that Kenwyn Critchlow did a semi-abstract paiinting of him hold a guitar which I rescued from the dump when we were leaving mausica. I loaned it back to Kenwyn in 1998.
May David's soul rest in peace.

Re: JEAN
2007-Jan-04-Thu-1738hrs
I met Jean for the first time at the Toronto reunion and we were drawn to each other. I came to regard her as a kindred spirit, a sister who "mih blood take." I gave her a necklace as a gift at the end of the reunion, it was a token to thank her for just being Jean. She sent me the most beautiful card which read:" Thank you Anna Maria for your tangible demonstration of love and appreciation. You know that I will treasure that necklance for a long (40 years) time. Do keep in touch and if you are in Toronto again let me know. Love you little sister." signed, with address and email address. We kept in touch oftenb. She came to Trinidad last year and got in touch, we spoke on the phone and I went to see her it felt as if we saw each other every day. I am so sad right now. My year began with much saddness. My word for Jean is "TREASURE" Go with God, Dear Jean, God is certainly gathering up his TREASURES.

I am really sorry to hear of the passing of Jean. I only met her at the Toronto reunion and she was such a warm person. I can still see her on the opening night modelling this old time dress; I think it was her graduation dress. How did she die? Was she ill or was it an accident?

Re: Jean

The outpouring of love and support for Jean’s family and very close friends has been truly remarkable. These words of Maya Angelou come to mind and I quote:
“It is healthy and honorable to weep at the loss of someone we love.Healthy, because such passion must be releasedHonorable because it is respectful to admit the importance of people who have loved and supported us….people whose footprints cannot ever be matched”

What tragic news to greet this brand new year! I have discovered in life that there are some occurrences that defy any logical or plausible explanation .....this is clearly one of those. To have such a beautiful and vibrant spirit snuffed out so cruelly is incomprehensible. However, in the true Mausican spirit, we will pool our positive energy together, we will lift up our collective thoughts to her family and we will hold on to our memories of this fine human being. As for me, I will forever savour her warm embrace at our reunion last year in Toronto. Sleep in peace, Dear Sister.

OH NO!!!!!!!!! I cant' believe this. What terrible news to start the New Year!!!! Tell us, it is not so. It is not our Jean Reid. My God, what is the world coming too????? Jean was such a spark in the life of Mausica and an ardent supporter of and participant in our reunions. For her life to be snuffed out so cruelly is certainly a testimony to the violence in this world. Oh Jean, may you rest in peace. And may we find it in our hearts to forgive the person who committed this atrocious act. To all of her family and to fellow Mausicans my deepest sympathy.
