RE: Story time

2017-FEB-07-2229Hrs
I must register my extreme pleasure as I listened to Storytime on 95.5 FM on Tuesday February 07. The truth is I was so occupied with my music student that I unfortunately did not hear the story which was read by the presenter Natalie Ligoure (I am not certain that I spelt her surname correctly). What caught my attention was when they said that the story was written by Rodney Foster. I learnt that the story had to do with Parenting. I heard the favourable comments made by the listeners and I had to call in if only to let all on sundry know that Rodney is a Mausican as I am (note the tense I used because once a Mausican always a Mausican. I found out that his book is 'Remember When' and I am encouraging all Mausicans to get a copy, available at the Book Store on Tragerette Road. Let us support our brother.

I would suggest that at the reunion this year, when we usually have a memorial service, without leaving the other Mausicans who have passed away, we dedicate a special time for Mr. Williams when those who were especially touched by him will be able to make a contribution and those who knew him or know about his work out of Mausica, especially before, will be able to make a contribution. In this way we should be able to fill in the gaps that were left out.

My condolences and sympathies are with all Mausicans on the passing of Mr Williams.
I am more aggreived that I missed the opportunity of seeing him alive while I was in Trinidad and to compound my pain I left just before the funeral.
I am however, so happy that our Warden was surrounded and blessed with family, friends and especially members of the  Mausican family like the Angelas Ifill and Davis, Felix, Hazel, Jack and his wife, Sheila [who also just lost her mother, our condolences], Rodney and so many others who kept close to him for us. We thank you for being there for him and we are assured that your care, visits and love will be highly honoured and recognised.
What an added glorious commendation to Mr Williams' life had he become a centurion. May his soul rest peacefully.
Blessings
