Hello fellow Mausicans
Were many of you personally affected by the parashlysis? It put things into perspective for me. Our volcano has been pretty quiet since February 11th when we had a partial dome collapse, but we have had and will no doubt continue to experience episodes of ashing, which for volume cannot be compared with Iceland
I want to share some shots of a wonderful Gospel concert put on by our oldest school on Montserrat. St Augustine Catholic Primary School celebrates 135 years of existence this year. It is one of only 4 Primary schools on Montserrat... the pre volcano number was around 14.
Also including an Easter Monday view of the volcano... free of ash and steam.
Grade 2 Thanksgiving Prayer
Drummers
Liturgical dance
The Soufriere Hills volcano
Love and blessings.... Pat

The ICT Roadshow started here today.
natural disasters are not sent to punish us... we get an opportunity to share the love with those in need and to remember WHO is really in charge.

RE: MAUSICA WEEKLY EMAILS
Hi
I was a Mausican 1972-1974. I found this pic of my group from SunsetVilla and would like to share it with the alumni group. Maybe these guys can be identified.
I am holding the football. My students tried editing it in myb Comm Tec. Class at Cedarbrae CI in Toronto. It was in a real bad shape.
Thanks. Pic attached with 1972-74 and 1973-75 from Villa.

Hi Euline,
Hi Euline,
How are you? You are asking about the Maundys. Our Roland Maundy passed recently. I have his home number at Carib Homes, Arima. His wife Esla is there, and she might be able to help. The home number is 667-2658. Hope this works. Happy to help with the nurturing of a "Family (his)Tree."

Dear Anna Maria
Dear Anna Maria
I was very sorry to hear about your experience with those hackers. My husband got one of those requests supposedly from one of the doctors on the staff who was on vacation in London. I also received one requesting money for one of our missionaries in Surinam. We ignored them because that is not our friends' style of recruiting money. Even this will pass.

Hey Maria
Keep the spirits up.
Anyhow I can't recall the logic behind this, but it's worth a try.
The first entry in your address book should be aaaaaa@aaa.aaa. It's something about because it's a nonexistent address it turns back probes.
I also believe that Happy was also a victim.
Take care

RE: Contact
2010-APR-14-1446Hrs
A few weeks ago I made a request for assistance for my friend in Saint Maarten who is trying to contact the Maundys in T&T. She was married to a Maundy but he has died and she heard about the family in T&T. If anyone has any phone contact or e-mail address please let me know. She is Jamaican and her name is Beverley.

AnnaMaria,
Nice to hear you online again. I know that was not your style and became suspicious immediately. Please know that we have your back up here too. My daughter got an identical request from a "friend" a week after your incident. When we are sleeping the hackers are not. I saw Fela and it is an excellent show, would not mind seeing it again.

Errol,
Errol,
Greetings from "mee one" in London Town to all my Mausican family across the globe.
I smile when I read snippets of banter between the brothers and sisters. ...Like Joan P. B.. my hostel sister referring to me as "Miss Closeup,"
I laugh out loudly when I read the "fatigue" going on between felllow Mausicans....about singing or eating
I feel proud to know I belong to a group that is always willing to help from naming a plant .(nevermind if it was artificial ) or finding someone or helping youngsters with resources for learning.
I feel sad when I hear of folks leaving us too early or too suddenly or just plain leaving and going home to join our Maker.
I am kinda embarrassed when I see pictures and I haven't got a clue who the people are.
I get happy when I see another Mausican saying "add me to the list".
It is like family coming home..
I was not there when the blogging first began Errol so I missed that.
Please tell me how you got started doing this.... Keeping us together thing?
This useful, beautiful, priceless, big brother thing ?
Every blessing to you for it.
Myrdith Brumant.

Hi My Peeps,
Hi My Peeps,
How are you all doing? I am very cautious now with these email conversations after what happened to me, with the person hacking into my email and getting my password. I cannot get into my hotmail at all to transfer my contacts, so that I have to begin again. Would really like to cancel my hotmail account, but not finding any way to do that. If anyone knows please educate me. I cannot get into it at all, my password does not work anymore. For this reason you may not be hearing from me that often. Will be in touch with individuals, but the blog not as often. Brenda, I know that you alerted Angela, and she called me. Thank you very much. That week of the 9th March was very stressful for me, I was receiving so many calls from very caring friends who were concerned about me, some knew what it was, but others did not. I know of two people who sent $$$. I was very sad about that. They got in touch with me after the fact. Thank you all for caring and it felt really good to know that so many of you "have my back." Anyway, I am still traumatized. Luckily I know how to self-soothe (we call it) and heal myself, in this case.
Now to New York. Hi to the NY Mausicans, I am sure that it is full speed ahead now. I know that there is a plan to add Broadway to the itinerary. There is a musical called "Fela", which follows the life of Fela Kuti, who was a world-renowned African musician. Is it possible for us to attend this, if it is still playing on Broadway next year? I have a feeling that it will be. Please explore the possibility.
This is the time of year when "Hope springs Eternal." Enjoy the excitement that Spring brings, and remember the three most important Virtues...FAITH..HOPE..CHARITY (LOVE).

A HOLY AND HAPPY EASTER EVERYBODY! Mausicans of '63 - '65 do you remember Just Because? the song that someone parodied to present in Harry Joe's assembly? I heard it today for the first time in DECADES .... the memories came flooding back. Come to thinnk of it, if my short term memory were as good...but with Mausica in that safe place, I'm happy! Love you all. pat
