Congratulations to "Aunty Thora" (Thora Best) who received the Humming Bird Gold Medal on Republic Day. Thora is the chairperson of the Junior Calypso committee. I look forward to attending the Junior Calypso competition whenever I can and must say that it is the highlight of my carnival experience.
