Re: MAUSICA WEEKLY EMAILS

2010-NOV-02-1336Hrs
HiPeeps,
Attended a fantastic tribute to Mr. Roland Maunday at the Metal Industries Auditorium, where he worked last and did consulting.  The Roland S. Maunday Educational Foundation and Trust held a Dinner in his fund-raising dinner in his honour. Many Mausicans attended and Dr. Theodore Lewis did the feature.  It was a very touching tribute to Mr. Maunday from one of " Maunday's Boys".  Mr. Maunday's son Garth is the Chairman of the Trust and Geet was one of the MC's.  Two scolarships were handed out to two young people who are studying in the TechVoc field and having challenges funding their day to day needs.  This is will really help.  I made a presentation to the Trust of $600.00 which represented the sale of 20 Mausica Alumni Choir CD's at $30.00 each.  In the interest of transparency and accountability, the new buzz words. I wish to let you all know that this was done in the name of the Mausica Alumini Reunions.  The sales were done at the two reunions of Tobago and Grenada.  DJ Philo was also mentioned for his contribution to the production of these CD's.  If an body needs CDs we can have more done for the next reunion.  Orders can be placed and if you are in Trinidad, I can work at getting them to you.
Anna Maria Mora.
