Where have all the bloggers gone?? I look forward each week to the sharing and correct me if I'm mistaken, but we ARE ALLOWED to to talk of non reunion items. My new lifestyle allows me time to smell the roses and observe things around me more closely. A trip to the supermarket to buy ginger ( for ginger beer and cooking) and carrots, revealed the 3 gems. The carrot is local, the ginger may be from Dominica ,although we are having to rethink imports because of a vile and virulent fungus which is threatening to wipe out our Mountain Chicken population... It has already done the dirty in Dominica which used to be a popular MC habitat. I don't eat this "delicacy" myself, but it is quite popular among residents and tourists.
We have just wound up St Patrick's Week and in will take up some space with a few photos from the heritage day activity at the Market last Friday.
All the best... Pat

Thanks Errol, Could Croti, please give a break down of the various activities planned. This may add some spice to the whole initiative and encourage some more registrations.

Hi Errol
Sorry I missed the last blog. Today is St Patrick's day which is a Public holiday on Montserrat as we celebrate the courage of African forbears whose lives were sacrificed in a failed coup on that day in1768. We have a week of events in which Cultural Heritage comes to the fore.
The next big event is Calabash week which takes place in July just before the Reunion in Grenada. Hope the bloggers are out in force this week! and trust that all is well with you. Pat

Dear Errol,
Please use your premier medium to circulate the letter below to the Mausica Family:

According, if you miss this deadline (March 23) please send an e-mail Subject: Late Registration to aantoine@spiceisle.com cc E-mail:buns_4u@hotmail.com and e-mail: dria95@aim.com that is Mausicans and planning Committee Members, Megan Welsh and Elmer Roberts.
The deadline for registering to participate in the various activities remains April 30, 2009.
We are also very pleased to inform you that arrangements for the various activities (with that sweet Grenadian flavour) are well underway and that we are planning an unstoppable programme for you. In fact the Committee is now considering providing you with regular updates as we go forward.
