Greetings fellow Mausicans! I just want to express my delight at once again being able to view the film "The Ninth Floor", this time on a local TV station: TTT. You deserve all the accolades that you have received so far.My love and best wishes to you all during this Christmas season and always.Lovingly,

RE: MAUSICA WEEKLY EMAILS 2019-OCT-11

2019-OCT-18-0105Hrs
My Fellow Mausicans, Marjorie and I extend our condolences to the Bellile family. We remember their warm hospitality at their home in 2005 during our Reunion in Toronto. Big Brother Ainsley was an excellent role  model  for the young men of the 66-68 year group. How well do I remember the well- groomed Havenite with his distinguished path and wavy hair,  quiet demeanor and  slightly bandy leg crawl. No way. My  roommate Cox was more bandy-legged. May you rest in peace my friend. It was a pleasure knowing you. Congrats Selwyn. Keep our Mausican flag flying. On September 18th, I visited my roommate, Carlsbury Gonzalez, in Albany, New York. What a time we had. Carl’s Mom is 104 years old and had us laughing. Carl was feeding her some chicken which he had cut up in tiny pieces.  We both cracked up when she blurted out, “Wey de chicken!” More about Mom next time when I find some photos that Carl sent me. Yes. I am technologically challenged. As usual,
Rodney Foster. 66-68

Re: Aldwin Albino - Portrait of Trinidad

2019-SEP-14-2053Hrs
A well-deserved Honorary Degree will be awarded to Selwyn Jacob, African Canadian director (and Trinidadian) and producer who has been chronicling the lives of African Canadians - primarily in western Canada - for many years, in addition to the stories of other multicultural communities.  He will be honored at the Convocation ceremonies on Tues. October 8 @ 3pm, Halifax Convention Centre, Convention Hall level, 1650 Argyle St.

Also by this time you have probably heard of the peaceful passing of Ainsley Bellisle. Funeral arrangements are on Wednesday September 18, 2019. Final arrangements are yet to be made. His request is to have a closed casket and to be buried within 3 days of his passing.
