To the families and friends of all who have lost loved ones, I send sincere condolences.
I remember Bernadette as a lovely lady, quite genteel in character.
My blessings and love to all my fellow Mausicans,  and to Errol, my continued gratitude.

RE: Another Tribute

2017-NOV-02-0737Hrs
Here is another tribute to one of our Mausican brothers.

From: Theresa Rampersad McLean

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Richard Spence, Mausica Graduate 68-70.  We will always remember Richard as a vibrant member of our Student Council.  He was an avid sportsman and a warm person. Richard gave his best to his teaching career as well as family. We celebrate the life of another great Mausican, who has left his footprints in the sands of time. He would have touched and shaped many lives.

From: Anna Maria Mora
I will always remember Richard as a gentle man and a gentleman. He had a that fooballer's frame: stocky, a slight bow-leg, and that confident stride. Ready to take on all the opposition.  He was a lover not a fighter though, off the field.   In the early days after graduating I would meet him of and on and his gentleness and warmth will radiate through his smile.   RIchard died in early October and his funeral  was held very quietly and without any fuss, as he wanted.  His brother is Monsignor Kenneth Spence and he told Theresa that Richard wanted no "celebration".  We, however, can celebrate him here.  Can we dedicate next week's blog to "Memories of Richard"? Scratchy, Lester, Korenza, all of us who knew Richard well, after spending two years with him day in day out.

To the Family:

On behalf of the Mausica Fraternity we would like to extend to the Family of RIchard Spence, our sincere condolences on his passisng. Take it one day at a time. Time will heal your sadness and replace it with joy and peace that surpasseth all understanding. May his Soul rest in Peace.
