My sincere condolences to the relatives and loved ones of Merle Howe, one of my earliest friends at Mausica. She was sincere, smart and good humored. I cherish my memories of her.

It is with deep regret that I have to inform you of the passing of Merle Howe (1971-1973). Merle lived in Houston Texas. A funeral service will be held in Houston on Sunday.

It is with tremendous sorrow that I pass on the news of the death of our fellow Mausican Merle Howe this evening in Houston Texas.
Here she is helping to serve lunch at her church on August 28 in honor of our Independence Day. If you have a contact for Patrick MusaibAli please inform Him before It appears in the bulletin. She was recovering from cancer and we were supposed to take a trip to Africa next year. She had always wanted to go. I am sure that her spirit will stop there on her journey home. I have been lighting prayer candles for her. Now I would light one in thanksgiving for her faithful work among children. May she Rest In Peace
