Hi folks

I've been relaxing for the past week on my annual pilgrimage to Manchester UK. I also plan to head to London to visit the Queen...we may rendezvous at London Bridge to listen in awe to the chimes of Big Ben.. I may also be a guest at the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace.

That apart, I know there's a Mausican there who's married to the calypsonian who sang Macho Belly a few years back......looking forward to hooking up with the both of them...

Greetings from MAlawi, southern Africa. used to be called Nyasaland, I arrived here on Saturday and will spend three weeks visiting, observing, and trying to make a difference.Its a poor country with the smilingest people i have ever met. Chinese, Europeans and middle eastern people are flocking here by the planeloads, women walk carrying bundles of sticks on their heads, alongside brand new mercedes Benzes. No animal drawn carts, but lots of bicycles. will try to send some pictures when I get back home. Stay well .

It is always a pleasure to read our weekly emails, even though lately at times they are tinged with saddness. However, if we keep in mind the years in which we were born we would realise that this is inevitable at this time.

It is late, but I must extend my condolences to the families of all Mausicans who have had loved ones leave this life. At this time the families of Pat Allum in Montserrat and Eugene Paul. Eugene and I taught in the same school after leaving Mausica.
